What is needed?

• JAF interface
• Activated PKey
• Installed JAF software
• Installed PKey drivers
• Nokia E50 FBus cable

Compatibility

Unlock method

1. Connect JAF toolbox and PKey on computer.
2. Connect E50 FBus cable to JAF interface.
3. Start JAF software, connect E50 phone on FBus cable. After a while "Local mode" will appear on phone screen. Then press "INF" button
   
4. Phone information will be read. (Phone type: RM-170 Nokia E50-1 Phone software version: ... IMEI number: ...) That means that the connection is working fine between the phone and JAF toolbox. Now press "(UN)LOCK" button.
   
5. JAF will start the unlocking process. After a while JAF will read the locks of the phone (it should be "OPEN") and "Done" will appear.
   
6. Now the phone is unlocked. You may press "INF" again to read and check the locks of the phone.
