Notes[edit]

What is FPS[edit]

FPS = Frames Per Second

Frames per second is one of the measurement which determines the video quality. (The other factors are the picture resolution, codec, bitrate.) For optimal quality more than 24 FPS should be used, unless the video seems flickering.

FPS value shows how many individual frames (pictures) are recorded or played back in videos per one second.

Most of the smartphones record video at 24/25 or 30 FPS.

Other mobile phones usually record videos at 15 FPS.
