Compatibility[edit]
This is a general unlock procedure. It can be used with those mobile phones:
What You need[edit]
- JAF interface
- PKey dongle
- FBus cable between phone anf JAF interface
- Installed JAF software and JAF and Pkey drivers
- MCU file which is the same version of the phone's
Unlock procedure[edit]
1. Connect JAF interface, Pkey dongle to computer. Connect phone using FBus cable to JAF interface.
2. Start the "J.A.F. by ODEON" software. After a while the phone should show "Local mode" on its screen.
3. Press "INF" button in JAF software to read the phone information. After the phone readed, the software version will be written on the bottom of the box.
4. Press "(Un)lock" button. The software will read phone info, the ask for the needed MCU file. The version and type of the MCU file has to be the same as the phone's type and version. ( In this case the phone's type is RM-340 and version is 5.21, so "RM340__5.21.mcusw" is the needed file. ) You may have to flash an another software on the phone if the needed mcusw file is not available.
5. JAF will unlock the phone, then "Done!" will appear.
6. Now the phone is unlocked.
