Notes[edit]
- Original memory card password will be reseted / changed
- Memory card will not be formatted
- This procedure could be used on newer Nokia E-series mobile phones where there is remote lock option
- Remote lock option allows you to lock your phone by sending SMS to it. It is a nice feature if you accidentally left your phone somewhere and you don’t want other people using it.
- It may not works on all of the Nokia E-series mobile phones.
- Tested on: Nokia E72, E63 etc
Procedure[edit]
- Turn on phone
- Insert memory card
- Go to Settings > General > Security > Phone and SIM > Remote lock and turn that feature on. (You may be asked for phone code.) Enter remote lock message.
- Now go to Filemanager or Memory card's menu. When the code is asked, enter the message of remote lock feature.
