Notes[edit]
- Back up user data and PM before flashing the phone
- Nokia 6300b working on GSM 850, 1800 and 1900 but Nokia 6300 working on GSM 900, 1800 and 1900. After conversion it will work only on GSM 1800 and 1900. Please note that some providers using GSM 900 band, in that case phone will not have signal.
- To make Nokia 6300b working on GSM 900 band also, PCB must be modified.
Conversion guide[edit]
- Flash the newest Nokia 6300 firmware on Nokia 6300b phone.
This solution is tested without writing 6300 PM on phone. However, some users had to write proper 6300 PM in order to make the phone work.
